PAL – see Video Standards

Pixel - A single picture element. The smallest element in a graphic image. Pixels are

combined with other pixels to make up a graphic image. Picture quality increases

as the number of pixels increase in a measured area of an image.

Planetary – (see Coarse/Fine Adjust)

Pointer (see eyepiece pointer)

Positive/Negative Switch – Reverses the image of the camera, from the positive colored

image, to its video negative image.

Power Adapter – (charger) - Ken-A-Vision cordless instruments, and some cameras are

supplied with an removable power cord, which may be either used as a standard

wall plug in source of power for the instrument, or as a charger of batteries in

cordless units. The exact one provided is dependent upon the specifications of the

purchaser, or in lieu of that the specifications of the country of use.

Power Supply – Country specific eight foot UL approved wire with the correct male plug

for country of use, or as requested by the purchaser.

PrepScope – The name given to the T-1200 series of Ken-A-Vision microscopes. They

have 4X, 10X, AND 40X objectives and a single large coaxial coarse/fine adjust

knob for use by Elementary and Middle School children.

Quick Focus™ – Trade marked feature of the Video Flex line of Ken-A-Vision cameras.

Within a 90° turn of the knurled knob on the face of the camera, the user can

focus from extreme close up (less than 1 inch from front of camera) to infinity.
